Westside provided a prompt estimate that was very reasonable and did the work quickly and professionally. Due to a cancellation, the work was completed about 3-4 days after I called for the estimate. The installers came on time, finished in about 1 1/2 days, and were very courteous and professional. The owner stopped by to check on the work upon completion. Very satisfied.

Everything went very well-start to finish in 2 days.Then it rained and there was no noise from dripping water! Amazing!

Cleaned and flushed the gutters and fixed several broken downspouts which  helped solved a really difficult drainage problem. We had been struggling with this problem for almost a year...Alan came up with a great solution and executed it as promised. On time and on budget. I made an appointment for an estimate. When he came, he inspected my gutters. He recommended using the hoods (which I thought I would do anyway) because of the constant amount of leaves and branches. He demonstrated how they worked. He told me he could save the old downspouts to keep the price down. He gave me an estimate, then reduced it somewhat based  a "coupon" and my "senior citizen" status (which he professed not to believe). Based on the reports I read, I decided to go ahead with it. The crew arrived, worked all day, but didn't quite finish. The next day there was a thunderstorm and rain which lasted into the following day. The gutters got a good test! That afternoon they came back to finish, cleaned up perfectly--and did not step on any plants. Perfect!

My experience with Westside was, by far, the best I've had with vendors in this area. In fact, there's no
comparison! Generally, people take forever to show up and give an estimate and then either drag out the work or don't finish. Alan responded to my email right away (on a Sunday!), showed up the next day, on time, to give me an estimate and, when I told him I was going away that Wednesday, he rushed to complete the work by Tuesday night. His staff was neat and efficient. I was truly amazed to have everything go so well as I'd become used to the opposite. I had been told that when my gutters were cleaned last Fall, the holes had been patched -- but we heard water pouring through all winter. Now, it's quiet, as it should be. Westside would be my first choice now to do any work on my house. And, although I paid a little more than expected, I'm told this is a good price and it was certainly well worth it.

I made an appointment with Alan Amerman for an estimate and he was right on time. He was very
knowledgeable and professional. He inspected my existing gutters and made some recommendations to change the current location of the downspouts for better drainage from the foundation. He answered all my questions and gave me a demonstration of how the gutter hood system worked with a model he had brought. I made the decision to use him for the job before he left. When I asked him when how long it would take to be completed, he told me it would be done by the end of the next day! The work crew arrived and did an excellent job. They took away the old gutters and cleaned up the work area. Everything looked great. It rained a few times over the next few days and the gutter hood system worked perfectly.

My old gutters were pretty much shot.  I contacted Westside Exteriors and in a day or two later owner Alan Amerman arrived at my house, and gave me an estimate for replacement gutters and another estimate for replacement gutters with gutter covers on them. A price was negotiated and a start date was set. Alan's crew was a awesome. . They were doing this outdoor work after a recent severe ice storm and mostly in bitter cold weather. The 2 man crew worked like gangbusters, rarely taking a break in some of the worst weather of the winter. It was because of this weather that the job took longer than originally planned but I certainly cannot fault Alan or his work-horse crew for that. The job was completed almost 1 month ago. I have procrastinated on filing report just to make sure everything was A-OK. It seems to be excellent and I have not had to make a call back to Westside for any problems as a result of the job. Also, I had a second estimate done before agreeing with Westside and Westside had a lower estimate and what I feel was a better product.

Great. The estimate was very reasonable (the lowest by far of estimates from three companies, one company wanted twice as much) and the contractor did not try to sell me something I didn't want (even though his company sells a more elaborate gutter system). The new gutters are more substantial than the flimsy ones they replaced. The person who came to my house was running late, but once he got there he worked steadily and efficiently. He was friendly, professional and cleaned up meticulously when he was done (including, as I asked, taking away the old gutters).

We had all new gutters put on our house, with the "gutter helmet" to prevent leaves from clogging gutters. Also wanted that because we have a slate roof and didn't want the snow (which slides off a slate roof with a force!) to pull the gutters down.

(incidentally, other gutter companies are NOT the only ones who have covers--Westsides are exactly the same, but significantly less--our estimate from the other company was almost $2000 more than Westsides-outrageous!).Alan showed up when he said he would  (when he came again to review the job since we hired Westside many months after the estimate--he was early!) and was the most straightforward about  the job than anyone else--meaning, he measured, wrote up the estimate and it was what it was--no promotion "if you sign today/this week/within 14 days", no "free" gas card etc. Just no nonsense, "this is what the job is, this is what it will cost, the estimate is good indefinitely". He also gave us the address of a similar job he'd done (with slate roof) that we looked at. His crew of two showed up, ( again, when they said they would), worked efficiently and steadily for two days straight, answered my questions very patiently and cleaned up after. The receptionist/office manager was also very pleasant to deal with.

Estimate was right on. Alan worked with my husband, explained the process of creating and hanging the seamless gutters, made some recommendations, which we ended up agreeing too. Complete gutter replacement with seamless gutters on a two story split level ranch.

Workers were excellent; took most of the day to complete the job; cleanup was terriffic. Worked with Sue for appointments and followup payment. She was great to speak to, followed up on a change we had and communicated that to the owner, helped us with the billing. Would have this company do our roof in a couple of years.
